The Ballinger Bearcats came from behind and captured the Bi-District Championship trophy over the Harper Longhorns Tuesday night 48 to 46 in Brady. The Bearcats not only captured the Bi-District Championship, but the win marked number 600 in the 34 year coaching career for Bearcat Head Boys Basketball Coach Robert Buxkemper. The Bearcats move onto the Area round of the Class 2A Basketball Playoffs Friday night as they meet Dublin at Clyde High School. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 PM. The Winters Blizzards are the district champions and they will see their first playoff action in the area round of the playoffs Friday night against the Munday Moguls. Game time is 7:00 o'clock Friday night in Anson.

The Bronte Lady Longhorns are headed to the regional tournament after they got a win over Roby last night 46 to 35 at Anson High School. The Bronte Longhorns also played Roby and completed the sweep with a 47 to 19 win.
