Benefit Raffle for Anthony Hurst

A benefit raffle is being held to offset the medical expenses for Anthony Hurst.

Prizes in the raffle include an AR-15 rifle, an SCCY OD green 9 millimeter pistol, a $250 gift card, and a Buck folding blade hunting knife.  Chances are being sold for $10 each or purchase six chances for $50.  The drawing will be held on Friday, March 3rd with the winners announced live on KRUN.  Purchase tickets at the Ballinger Police Department, or from any Ballinger Police Department officer. 

Anthony "Shack" Hurst is a current public works employee with the City of Ballinger and is enrolled as a student in the Concho Valley Law Enforcement Academy.  Anthony is being treated for a form of aggressive cancer that originated in his chest and rapidly progressed.
