Donald James Prine

Donald James Prine, 72, of Winters, Texas, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021.

He was born on November 17, 1948, to James Preston and Elouise (Bailey) Prine, in Winters, Texas. After graduating high school, Donald served honorably in the United States Armed Forces in the Air Force. He then began his carpentry business which he ran successfully for over 50 years. Donald found joy in drag racing at race tracks both in Abilene and San Angelo, listening to rock n roll, and loved to compete in local shooting competitions. (Please insert more here about Donald)

Donald is preceded in death by his parents James and Elouise Prine.

He is survived by his sister Brenda Grohman of Winters, and his Uncle Wayne Bailey of Abilene, Texas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held for Donald on September 11, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Lakeview Cemetery in Winters, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hendrick Hospice in Abilene, Texas in Donald’s honor.
