Z.I. Hale Museum's 39th Birthday
Jun 13, 2017   05:30 PM

June 13, 2017 marks the 39th birthday of Winters' Z. I. Hale Museum. The museum started in Dr. Z. I. Hale Clinic building in 1978. As the years passed additions have been added to make up the Z. I. Hale Museum Complex. First came the Rock Hotel Heritage Center, then the Drummer House, the Caboose, Pioneer Family Park, the Museum Exhibit Hall, the Queen Theater, The Gus Pruser Agriculture Exhibit and the Blue Gap Post Office and Stage Depot to complete the complex.

The purpose of the Museum Foundation is to preserve the heritage of this area and provide a means of historical education and cultural development for the Winters area.

The public is invited to this year's annual meeting. Our visitor this year will be Joe Eckols . He will be discussing his cemetery project and other items related to the history of the area.

This year's annual meeting will be on Tuesday (June 13th) at 5:30. We will be meeting in the Rock Hotel (300 W. Dale St. in Winters). Refreshments will be served. FMI (325) 754-5389 or zihalemuseum@wtxs.net.
