Many thanks to KRUN for providing coverage of the lady Bearcats Basketball.  Lynn Smith is doing a wonderful job providing the play by play of each game.  When we moved away from Ballinger last year, one of our biggest regrets was losing the ability to watch our two nieces play their senior year of basketball.  Madelyn Tounget and Sterling Sanders are having a fun year playing, and it is so great to feel like we are there and cheer them on if only from our seats in North Carolina.  Thank you ever so much for what you do for Ballinger, and it's many supporters where ever they may be now.

Thanks so much to krun for allowing me to follow the Winters Blizzards through their play off season all the way from Canada.  Go Big Blue!!!

(A bit late but...)  Just wanted thank KRUN and all their support at the Winters Dove Fest on Sept. 3rd.  It was hot but a huge, record breaking turnout this year.  Thanks to all who came out as well.

I would have to say, today's pep rally 9/30/2011 had to have been the best pep rally in awhile. My dad, Coach Robert Buxkemper, gave one of the best speeches ever. If you didn't get a chance to hear it this morning then I hope you catch it on the radio this afternoon. It Rocked!  I am so proud of you dad and I love you with all my heart. Way to go dad!

I had a dream the other night that I wrote a sitcom about KRUN and it was on TV as a regular show!
