City officials are notifying residents about scheduled nighttime maintenance to check for natural gas leaks early next week.
The work, required by the Railroad Commission, will take place Monday, April 6th and again Wednesday, April 8th.
A contractor, Health Consultants, will drive a small, clearly marked vehicle slowly through neighborhood streets and alleyways during overnight hours. Officials say the work is precautionary and focused on public safety.
Residents may notice the slow-moving vehicle but are told there is no cause for concern.
Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact the city.
Officials thank residents for their understanding as crews work to keep the community safe.
