The 11th annual Bronte Oberfest will be held Saturday, October 18th at Bronte Park, bringing a full day of family-friendly fun. The festival features a cook-off, craft beer and wine, a vendor fair, food trucks, and a kids’ area. Live music will highlight the day with the Kickapoo Creek Band featuring Roger Creager. Popular contests include the Running of the Wieners and the beer stein holding competition. Organizers say the event isn’t fancy, but a true small-town celebration where the whole community turns out. Downtown shops will also join in with giveaways and sales. More information is available at Restoring Bronte Foundation.org.
