Friday night football returns in full force across the Agriplex this week, with several area teams coming off an open date and jumping right back into the heart of district play.
Ballinger, Winters, Bronte and Paint Rock all return after last week’s bye, and every game takes on added importance as the district races begin to tighten.
Ballinger is back at Bearcat Stadium, hosting Forsan, while one of the area’s biggest matchups has Winters hosting Miles in a Runnels County showdown for county bragging rights.
Bronte welcomes Highland for a 7:30 kickoff, Paint Rock hosts Robert Lee, and Olfen travels to Blackwell for a 7:30 start.
With playoff positioning beginning to take shape, every district win becomes more important from here on out.
