Ballinger Athletes Excel at District Tennis and Golf Meets

Ballinger High School athletes delivered strong performances at recent district tennis and golf meets, earning top finishes across multiple events.

On the tennis courts, Harlee Mikalik placed third in girls singles, while Alivia Jalomo and Hunter Wilson won first in mixed doubles. The Lady Bearcats varsity team finished as team runner-up.

In junior varsity play, Joseph Zavala took first in boy’s singles, Ian Thompson placed second, Kyndall Weathers and Aiden Conrad had a first place finish in the mixed doubles, and the JV boys claimed a district championship.

On the golf course, Dylan Page earned first place individual honors, with Riley King finishing second. The Lady Cats golf team also secured a runner-up finish.

Coaches say the results reflect a successful spring season for Ballinger athletics.
