The Ballinger City Council meets Monday at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall on Railroad Avenue. Council members are set to canvass and certify results from the Nov. 4 general election for mayor and council places one and two, followed by administering oaths of office. The agenda also includes discussion on creating a Municipal Development District for a possible 2026 election, renewing the city’s agreement with the Carnegie Library, and considering an ordinance on grease trap inspections. The council will also review the 2024 city audit and may meet in executive session to discuss legal, property, and personnel matters. The public is invited to attend.
