The City of Ballinger is asking residents to help spruce up the community during Citywide Cleanup Week, September 25th through the 30th.
Dumpsters will be available at four locations — the Recycle Center at 207 South Seventh Street, the Community Center at 200 North Crosson, the old Junior High at 698 North Seventh, and 102 South Woodward Avenue.
Accepted items include furniture, appliances — except Freon appliances — junk, lawnmowers, tin, metal and bedding.
Household trash, construction debris, car parts and tires will not be accepted.
Volunteers are also welcome and may sign up at Ballinger City Hall to help with the community cleanup effort.
