A Ballinger home was reported destroyed by fire Saturday evening at the corner of Tenth Street and Hamilton Avenue.
According to local residents near the scene, the residence was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived on scene. The Ballinger Fire Department responded and worked to bring the fire under control.
No injuries were reported, but the family did lose two pets in the fire.
The cause of the fire has not been released, and officials say the incident remains under investigation.
