Ballinger High School expands programs, seeks transfer students

SHARE NOW

Ballinger High School is expanding its programs of study for the 20-26–27 school year and is now accepting transfer student applications.

School officials say students can pursue hands-on training in fields like animal science, culinary arts, cybersecurity, nursing, and engineering foundations. Additional offerings include agricultural mechanics, plant science, graphic design, and software development.

Students can also compete at the state level and participate in organizations such as FFA and FCCLA, while earning dual credit on campus.

District leaders say the goal is to offer big opportunities in a small school setting, while opening the door for more students to enroll. For more information, families can contact Leslie Griffis at Ballinger ISD.
