The Ballinger Lady Cats are continuing their push toward what could be the volleyball program’s first state playoff appearance.
Ballinger improved to 19-and-12 overall following a three-set sweep of Brady last Thursday.
The Lady Cats are four-and-two in district competition and currently occupy third place in the standings.
Ballinger faces another important district test Tuesday evening when the Lady Cats travel to Christoval.
The varsity match begins at six o’clock.
With the regular season winding down, every district victory becomes increasingly important for Ballinger’s postseason hopes.
