Ballinger Memorial Hospital District remains operational following last Thursday’s powerful storm that damaged several district facilities. Strong winds and heavy rain caused significant roof damage to the Professional Building, while the hospital itself also sustained some damage. District officials say all patients and staff were safe. The emergency room, laboratory and other hospital services have remained operational, and the hospital continues accepting transfers. Residents are being asked to use caution around hospital property while repair crews continue assessing and addressing the damage.
