The Ballinger City Park Board is inviting residents to weigh in on proposed improvements to city-owned property between Seventh and Eighth Streets.
A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12th, at 5:30 p.m. inside Council Chambers at 700 Railroad Avenue.
Board members say they want to hear both support and concerns from the community as plans move forward. Proposed upgrades include the development of turf fields for youth recreation and revitalizing existing courts into pickleball and-or tennis courts.
The board is also applying for grant funding to help bring the project to life and says public feedback will play a key role in the process.
Residents are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts.
