Water is finally being restored throughout the City of Ballinger after several days of outages and low pressure. City crews report that service is returning slowly across the system, but residents may notice brown or discolored water as lines stabilize. Officials say that’s normal and advise running faucets until the water clears. A boil water notice remains in effect for all Ballinger customers until further testing confirms the system is safe. The city first issued the notice after equipment failures at the water plant earlier this week disrupted service citywide.
