Community gatherings take center stage this week as Bronte and San Angelo celebrate Independence Day with music, food, and fireworks.
Bronte’s 4th of July party begins at 7 p.m. Friday, at 900 South Street with free hot dogs, an auction, and a fireworks show at nightfall.
In San Angelo, a Star-Spangled Banner Concert and Fireworks event kicks off July 3rd at 7:30 p.m. at 16 East Avenue A, with live music and fireworks over Lake Nasworthy the following night, July 4, around 9 p.m.
These small-town traditions bring neighbors together, reminding us how vital community spirit is in rural Texas.
