KRUN 1400 will celebrate 79 years of broadcasting with “Celebrate KRUN, an evening to celebrate KRUN going back on the air after the storm damage in May. The celebration will be Friday, Aug. 21, at St. Boniface Parish Hall in Olfen.
The evening begins with a pulled-pork dinner at 6 p.m., followed by live music and dancing featuring Jody Nix and the Texas Cowboys from 7 to 11 p.m.
Tickets are $50 per person.
The Ballinger Area Chamber of Commerce and Ballinger Rotary Club will hold a drawing at the end of the dance. Prizes include $250 worth of Texas Lottery scratch-off tickets. Drawing tickets are $5 each or six for $20. You do not have to be present to win
