Cord Coker and Olivia Jefferson have been selected by Coleman County Electric Cooperative as winners of the 2026 Government-in-Action Youth Tour.
The students will represent the cooperative during the all-expense-paid leadership trip to Washington, D.C., June 14 through 21. The annual program is sponsored by electric cooperatives across Texas and the nation and gives students the opportunity to meet lawmakers, tour historic landmarks and learn more about government and the cooperative system.
The Youth Tour traces its roots to 1957 and now brings more than 1,500 students from across the country to the nation’s capital each year
