A free tax assistance program for seniors will be held Ballinger.
Cornerstone Community Action Agency will hold a Problem Solving Day September 15th at the Carnegie Library at 204 North Eighth Street.
The event is designed to help residents dealing with IRS issues, including delayed or amended tax returns, identity theft and taxpayer protection concerns.
Cornerstone’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is an IRS-sponsored program providing free tax assistance, with IRS-certified volunteers.
Cornerstone is a 501-C-3 nonprofit that has operated in the region since 1965 and serves Runnels County and other area counties.
