The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Runnels, Coleman, Coke, Concho and much of West Central Texas beginning early Wednesday and continuing through late Thursday night. Forecasters say multiple rounds of heavy rain could produce two to four inches across the watch area, with isolated totals above seven inches possible. Flash flooding could affect creeks, streams, low-water crossings and other flood-prone locations.
