High school football kicks off across the Agri-Plex tonight with several big matchups on the schedule. The Ballinger Bearcats hit the road to face the Christoval Cougars in a 7 o’clock kickoff. Also at 7, the Winters Blizzards travel north to take on Munday, while the Miles Bulldogs make the trip west to Sterling City. At 7:30, the Bronte Longhorns host Rule, and Paint Rock welcomes Loraine. The Olfen Mustangs were in action Thursday night, falling to the May JV squad. Fans are reminded to allow extra time for travel, as crowds are expected to be strong at all stadiums on the first Friday in September.
