HISTORIC HOME TOUR SET IN BALLINGER DURING STATE FESTIVAL

SHARE NOW

The historic Ballinger Carnegie Library will host its annual Historic Home Tour Saturday, April 25th, as part of one of the community’s longest-running traditions—the Texas State Festival of Ethnic Cultures and Arts and Crafts Fair.

The home tour serves as a fundraiser for the library, which has been a cultural centerpiece in Ballinger for more than a century and remains one of the few Carnegie libraries in Texas still in operation.

Tickets for the tour are $15, with children 12 and under admitted free. Tickets are available now at the library.

Organizers say a raffle for a handmade quilt will also be held, with tickets priced at two dollars each or six for ten dollars. Participants do not have to be present to win.

The home tour coincides with the 51st annual ethnic festival on the courthouse square, bringing visitors together to celebrate Ballinger’s rich history, architecture, and diverse cultural heritage.
