The Ballinger Area Chamber of Commerce is bringing back one of the community’s favorite holiday traditions — the Downtown Lamp Post Decorating Contest. Businesses, organizations, and individuals are invited to deck out a downtown lamp post with their most creative and festive designs. From twinkling lights to ribbons and garland, it’s all about spreading holiday cheer and making downtown Ballinger shine.
Those wishing to participate can stop by the Chamber office to view the lamp post list, pay a small entry fee, and reserve their spot. Judging will take place during Moonlight Madness, and prizes will be awarded for the top three lamp posts. Winners will be announced during Christmas in Olde Ballinger, a celebration of community and Christmas spirit in the heart of downtown.
