The Ballinger Lady Cats are headed to the postseason.
Ballinger will take on Ozona in the bi-district round of the UIL Class 2A Division One state basketball playoffs Monday, February 16th at 8 p.m. The game will be played at San Angelo Central High School.
The Lady Cats enter the matchup with an impressive 24-and-6 overall record. Ozona comes in at 24-and-8 on the season.
Ozona represents District 7-2A Division One as the district champion, while Ballinger advances as the fourth-place team from District 8-2A Division One.
Monday’s winner moves on in the state playoff bracket, while the loser sees its season come to an end.
