The Mighty Ballinger Bearcat Band has streaked to victories two weekends in a row, clinching first place in division honors once more. On Saturday, Oct. 11, the band took top division honors at the Concho Classic Marching Festival in San Angelo, following a win the prior weekend at the Big Country Marching Festival in Abilene.
As a 2A band, their next UIL area contest is set for Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 at one of the designated 2A Area sites. Should they qualify beyond area, they may advance to the UIL State Marching Contest, scheduled Nov. 3–5 in the Alamodome, San Antonio.
