Miles Independent School District will hold its school board election November 3rd, with the deadline to file for a place on the ballot set for August 17th.
Local school boards play an important role in public education, setting district policies, approving budgets and overseeing the superintendent while helping establish the direction of the school district.
Anyone interested in serving on the Miles ISD Board can pick up a candidate filing form at the Administrative Office.
