The Miles Volunteer Fire Department is inviting the public to its annual community fundraiser Saturday, April 25, at the Miles Catch Pen.
Activities begin at 11 a.m. with pulled pork sandwiches served with all the fixings. Entry deadlines for the domino and cornhole tournaments are also at 11 a.m., with the cornhole tournament auction scheduled for noon.
A Bloody Mary Mix-Off turn-in is set for 2 p.m., followed by the chili cook-off turn-in at 3 p.m. The chili cook-off and Bloody Mary auction begins at 5 p.m., and a live auction starts at 6:30.
Event organizers say the fundraiser will also include both silent and live auctions, and donations of auction items are still being accepted. Proceeds will support the Miles Volunteer Fire Department and its emergency services for the community.
