Emergency responders and public safety leaders from across West Central Texas will gather in Brownwood for the 2026 West Central Texas Emergency Preparedness Conference.
The conference is set for Thursday,from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Brownwood Event Center Complex.
Emergency managers, first responders, healthcare professionals, educators and government officials will take part in training and discussions covering disaster response, cybersecurity, school safety, emergency communications and community resilience.
The conference is designed to strengthen regional partnerships before disasters and emergencies occur.
