Ballinger will welcome library professionals from across West Texas and beyond when the Wonder Round-up comes to the Carnegie Library October 15.
The one-day event showcases performers and educational presenters available for library summer-reading programs, schools and museums.
Organizers say the program was created especially for West Texas, where distance can make bringing professional programs to smaller communities expensive.
The event also helps neighboring libraries coordinate bookings, reducing travel costs while expanding educational and literacy programs.
Wonder Round-up runs from 9am through 3 p.m. at the Carnegie Library in Ballinger.
