The Runnels County 4-H Food Challenge is set for Saturday, December 6th at the Ballinger Community Center. The event begins with Heat One check-in at 8:30 a.m. and Heat Two at 9:30. The contest challenges Clover Kids through high school seniors to create a dish on the spot using surprise ingredients. Teams will be judged on preparation, presentation, and food safety.
Organizers stress that the registration deadline is Friday, November 21st, and all entries must be submitted online through the county website at runnels.agrilife.org by team coaches. Entry fees for the district contest are also due by November 21st.
