Runnels County begins its new fiscal year Thursday, October 1st, with the county’s 2026-27 budget already posted for public review. The spending plan covers the fiscal year running through September 30th of 2027. Residents who want to review county finances can find both the new budget and the current year’s budget on the Runnels County website. The county courthouse is at 613 Hutchins Avenue in Ballinger.
