The Runnels County 4-H and FFA Horse Judging Team was crowned champions at the prestigious National Western Stock Show in Denver on Saturday, January 10, earning top honors against youth teams from across the nation.
The National Western, known as the “Super Bowl of livestock and judging contests,” draws competitors from throughout the United States to compete in elite livestock, wool and horse judging events as part of its 16-day run celebrating western heritage and agricultural education.
This historic title marks a huge achievement for our local 4-H and FFA programs and reflects countless hours of preparation, teamwork and dedication by the team and their coaches. The community joins in congratulating these young champions for bringing home national bragging rights to the Agri-Plex.
