Runnels County residents are invited to gather in remembrance later this month.
The annual Memorial Day Ceremony is scheduled for Monday, May 25th at 10 a.m. on the Runnels County Courthouse lawn in Ballinger.
The event honors those who have served and sacrificed for the country, with community members encouraged to attend and reflect.
Organizers say information will also be available for individuals who would like to have a loved one’s name added to the memorial.
The ceremony is hosted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9196.
For those unable to attend but wishing to submit a name, contact information is available through the VFW.
