The Runnels County Sheriff’s Office is once again spreading holiday cheer by collecting toys, clothing, and donations for less fortunate children across the county. The annual Christmas toy drive helps brighten the season for hundreds of local kids, from newborns to age thirteen.
Donation drop-off and family sign-up begin November 12th at the Sheriff’s Office, located at 612 Strong Avenue in Ballinger. Organizers remind families that only one parent should register children to help ensure every household in need can receive support.
This year’s toy giveaway will take place December 23rd from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sheriff Carl Squyres thanks the community for its continued generosity and support in making Christmas brighter for Runnels County children.
