The West Central Texas Law Enforcement Academy is now accepting applications for its 2025–2026 Basic Peace Officer Academies. The evening academy begins Nov. 12 and runs through June, with classes Monday through Friday nights and all-day Saturdays. A daytime academy will start Jan. 5, meeting on weekdays from 8 to 5.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 6. Packets are available online, and more information can be found by calling 325-672-1197 or emailing [email protected].
The academies prepare students for a career in law enforcement and certification as a Texas peace officer.
