Two local elections scheduled for November third have been canceled because all candidates are running unopposed.
The Ballinger Memorial Hospital District has declared Tyler Reasor, Elizabeth Zuniga and Scott Studer elected to its board without opposition.
In Miles, the city has canceled its alderman election, declaring Sterling Hohensee, Nathan Granzin and Tony Dillon elected without a vote.
Both governing bodies approved their election cancellations in September.
The cancellations affect only those local races. Voters in Ballinger, Miles and throughout Runnels County can still cast ballots in other November third elections.
