The City of Ballinger is alerting residents and motorists to an upcoming TxDOT highway resurfacing project.
TxDOT has contracted Price Construction to resurface portions of Highway 67, or Hutchings Avenue, and Highway 158 through Ballinger.
The Highway 67 work will extend from the bridge near Toliver’s to the bridge on the opposite side of town. Highway 158 resurfacing will continue up to Pou Street.
Barricades are scheduled to go up September first. Traffic will continue moving, but motorists should expect temporary stops, lane changes and slower traffic.
There will also be NO PARKING along Hutchings Avenue, or Highway 67, during the project.
Motorists are urged to slow down, watch for workers and equipment, and allow extra travel time.
