There are new developments in the Montana double-homicide case involving former Runnels County resident Ty Allen Turney. Local Montana news outlets report Turney has now pleaded not guilty to all charges during a court appearance in Stillwater County District Court.

According to court filings, Turney is accused of fatally shooting two people and injuring two others during an early-morning incident Dec. 8 at a home on Stillwater River Road. He was arrested about two hours after deputies found four gunshot victims, two of whom later died.

A district judge has ordered Turney held without bail, citing the severity of the allegations. Prosecutors say the investigation is ongoing, with the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation assisting the Stillwater County Sheriff’s Office.

Turney faces charges of deliberate homicide and attempted deliberate homicide.
