Winters ISD is inviting community members to share their skills and experience with local students during the district’s first Community Skills Day.
The event is set for Friday, September 25th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will focus on teaching real-world skills to students in grades kindergarten through 12.
Volunteers are needed to lead sessions in areas including financial literacy, home and auto skills, health and wellness, safety and emergency preparedness, outdoor skills and more.
Organizers are looking for local businesses, professionals, first responders, parents and community members who can share their knowledge and inspire students.
