The Winters Independent School District Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting Friday, May eighth, at 7 a.m. at the district administration office.
According to a news release, the session will focus primarily on planning for the 2026–2027 football season, along with other regular board business.
The agenda includes public participation, discussion and possible action on the upcoming football season, and a possible closed session as allowed under the Texas Open Meetings Act.
Any final decisions will be made in open session. The meeting will conclude with setting the next meeting date before adjournment.
