The first-ever Winters Young Eagles Event will take place Saturday, November 15th at Wes Hays Memorial Airport. Activities begin at 8 a.m. with a flyover to honor veterans, followed by the Young Eagles Program. The event invites kids ages 8 to 18 to sign up for free airplane flights and learn about aviation — with parental consent required. Food trucks will be on-site, and families are encouraged to bring chairs and umbrellas.
