1954-2025
Christine Liggins Smith, 71, of Winters passed away Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born January 27, 1954 to Marie Liggins in Winters, where she grew up. She worked for Contico for years, where she later retired from. She enjoyed softball, and loved being the left fielder for the co-ed team she played on with several family members. Christine was greatly loved by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Johnny Ray Liggins, and nephew Matt Liggins. Christine is survived by her children: Dorothy Smith, Otis Liggins, Johnny Wayne Liggins, an Dedric Lockridge; grandchildren: Michael, Justin, Cameron, and Johnny Wayne, Jr.; aunt Margaret Huffman husband Dennis Griffin; nephews: Jay Liggins and Leland Liggins; niece Lilly Liggins; and numerous cousins.
