Lola Annette “Ann” Hoyt-Brock
1938-2026

Lola Annette “Ann” Hoyt-Brock, 87, of Miles, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Ann was born on August 7, 1938, in rural New Mexico to Virgil and Marybelle Bryant. As the eldest of twelve siblings, she learned early the importance of hard work, resilience, and devotion to family, values that guided her throughout her life.

Ann dedicated 44 years to the legal field, working as a respected paralegal. Alongside her professional career, she pursued various ventures while wholeheartedly raising her four children. She balanced her responsibilities with grace, always placing family at the center of her life.

She shared 45 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Richard. Together, they built a life filled with love and simple joys, spending time at home, waterskiing (even into her seventies), gardening, traveling, and caring for their farm.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Marybelle Bryant; her brothers Raymond, Charles, Earnest, and Carl Bryant; and her sister Sharon Cain.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Brock; her children, James Kuykendall and wife Josette, Kelley Brock and spouse Mike Dill, Sabrina Young and husband Kevin, and Karla Morgan and husband Michael; along with many extended family members, including a newly born grandson, bringing her legacy to six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.
