Our much loved Mom and Nan, Otillie Rose Wilson of Winters, Texas, gained her heavenly wings on July 31, 2026 at her home.
Born on April 16, 1941, her parents were Walter and Elsie Scharschmidt of Coupland, Texas. Our mom was a very strong woman who loved the Lord, her children, grands, and great-grands very much. If you knew her, you loved her. She had many friends through working as a welder at Dry's Manufacturing.
She is survived by her children: Elizabeth Monse (Kelly), Lisa Conley, Suzanna Bullock, and Charles Wilson; grandchildren: Meagan Hays (Benji), Erica Monse, Christopher Aaron, Kevin Aaron, Tasha Roznovsky, Shawn Kraatz (April), Amy Land (Nathan), Emalee Roznovsky (Jarrett Gerhart), Desiree Wilson, and Kagan Wilson; and great-grandchildren: Cameron and Brooklyn Hays, Latizia and Peyton Aaron, Candace, Trevor, and Harlie Aaron, Alex and Katara Pena, Axton, Brycon, Karylia, Paisley and Richard, and Serenity and Morghan. She will also be missed by her pets Sweetie (cat) and Katie and Olive (dogs).
The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2026 at Winters Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Winters Funeral Home with burial following at Lakeview Cemetery.
