SHARE NOW

A Runnels County woman is facing two counts of cruelty to livestock following her recent arrest.

Authorities say Lydia Marie Richmond was charged with two counts under state livestock cruelty laws. Those charges can be filed as misdemeanors or felonies, depending on the severity of the allegations. Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the case.

Richmond was later released on a personal recognizance bond due to reported chronic medical issues.

The case remains pending as it moves through the legal process.
