The recent citywide cleanup effort in Ballinger is being called the most successful in recent memory by City Manager Lindsey Guyoso, and it’s now drawing attention across the region.
Guyoso said the large dumpsters placed throughout the city were filled to capacity multiple times during last week’s campaign—clear evidence of strong community participation.
The city manager also praised city crews, especially employees from the Recycling Center, who went beyond expectations—driving alley to alley from south Ballinger to north, clearing out debris and restoring pride block by block.
She says the hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed.
The Keep Texas Beautiful commission has invited Guyoso and members of her team to speak at a regional meeting in Abilene on Tuesday, March 31st… highlighting Ballinger’s renewed commitment to cleanliness and community pride.
Officials say the momentum from this effort is just the beginning.
