Nancy Jean (Cookie) Lieck Tollett passed away in Ballinger Texas on March 20, 2026 after a lengthy illness.
Nancy was born August 14, 1941 in San Antonio Texas to the late Reuben & Lucille Zalesky Lieck. She married Billy Joe Tollett and raised a family in Odessa, Texas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Abilene, Texas.
Nancy is survived by her children, Kenneth W. Tollett and wife Ellen Tollett of Wadsworth, Ohio, Terri Tollett Stathem and husband Lane Stathem of Winters, Texas, Billy G. Tollett and wife Tika Tollett of Milford, Ohio, and Sandra Jo Tollett of Odessa, Texas, sister Johnnie “Punkin” Whetstone of Bastrop, Texas. Nancy, Mamaw had nine grandchildren, Landon Thompson, Cody Stathem, Katey Tollett Capotosta, Kenny Tollett, Lauryn Stathem, Leightyn Tollett, Bayli Tollett, Parker Tollett, RileyJo Loranger, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews all of which she loved and adored.
She is reunited in peace with her parents Reuben A. Lieck and Lucille C. Lieck, her brother Robert (Rusty) Lieck and sister Gloria A. Gore and her former husband Billy Joe (Red) Tollett.
Nancy loved music, playing dominoes and bingo. She loved traveling to Bastrop Texas and Arvada Colorado to visit with her sisters, nieces and nephews.
Services for Nancy are currently pending with Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger.
