Ballinger will turn into a communitywide shopping destination Saturday as the Ballinger Area Chamber of Commerce hosts two events on September 26.
The Ballinger Citywide Garage Sale begins at 7 a.m., with sales located throughout town. Shoppers can pick up a map showing participating locations at Ballinger City Hall beginning at 7.
Then at 10 a.m., the Sidewalk Showcase gets underway in downtown Ballinger. Vendors will line the sidewalks with shopping and locally offered goods and merchandise.
The Chamber is encouraging residents and visitors to spend the day exploring Ballinger, finding bargains and supporting local businesses and vendors.
